It’s been a busy few months working with Citysocializer, the virtual events platform and social network on a mission to cure loneliness by helping singles and city newcomers make new friends through events and activities designed to create happiness, wellness and belonging.
Hard-working media relations saw us achieve coverage around key calendar events including Halloween (such as this feature in Stylist on Citysocializer’s ghoulish events) and across the festive season. Citysocializer’s Christmas Day virtual event featured in Time Out’s round up of things to do if you’re alone at Christmas, and The Express was amongst several media titles to include Citysocializer events in their guides to celebrating NYE whilst staying in.
We also achieved an article in Metro on how to let go of and make new friends around National Unfriend Day featuring comments from Citysocializer’s CEO, which resulted in several more sign-ups.
We also supported Citysocializer when they adapted to the COVID pandemic by pivoting their business from focusing on real world events and activities to facilitating virtual events, classes and workshops. Some great coverage hits were achieved on how the site was now open to anyone who’d like to host virtual events and classes and make money doing so.
Great to end the year on such a high…and even better news that Citysocializer has extended our contract to continue publicising their events and the brand into 2021!
